1] Ensure that you are using the correct Office Product License key
The first thing you need to do is to ensure that you are using the correct Office Product License key. Is it the right code for the Office version you have installed? So check the version and the key details. Is it for Individual or Volume Activation? Check all! If you feel that you are using a non-genuine product license key, you may need to buy a new one. 2] Repair Office

So, launch Command Prompt as an administrator and execute the following commands one-by-one. 4] Convert Office Installation
This is for a very specific niche. If you have installed Office Professional Plus on a system that already had Microsoft 365, you will see the error message. But, converting the Office Installation to Microsoft 365 can resolve the issue.
So, first of all, close all the Office applications and go to account.microsoft.com in order to know your Product key. Log in with your credentials and click the View product key button. Now, copy the product key and paste it somewhere as we are going to use it hereinafter.

Now, you can see the last 5 digits of an installed product key. So, copy that.
