Show Color on Windows 10 Start Menu & Taskbar
To show the color on your Start Menu and taskbar in Windows 10, open the Sart Menu and click open Settings.
Click on ‘Personalization’.
From the left-side of Personalization Settings, click on Colors. Here you can set it to Automatically pick an accent color from your background, by moving the button to On position, or you can move the button to the Off position and select and choose your accent color.
You can chose to have an accent color selected automatically from your background image. If you do not require it, turn off the option. Remember, if this option is turned off, the ‘Start menu’, taskbar and action center will display a dark gray color, but tiles will appear colored in your accent color. You can even choose to make your Start menu/Start screen transparent or opaque. Click on a color to select the color and apply it as the color for Start, taskbar, action center and other chosen areas of the OS. You may also check if the option titled Show color on Start, taskbar, and action center is turned on or not. If it is not turned ‘On’, switch it to ‘On’. You will find this setting just below the above-mentioned setting.
